The Chainsmokers & Coldplay Break YouTube Record

It’s not breaking news to us that The Chainsmokers have revolutionized dance music, but now the entire world is in on it. The lyric video for their latest single “Something Just Like This” featuring British rock legends, Coldplay, set a YouTube record by racking up over 9 million views in the first 24 hours of its debut.

The record for most views in a single day was previously held by Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean” at 8.2 million. The lyric video was expected to be nothing short of brilliance with creative genius, James Zwadlo, behind the direction but even he was stunned by the groundbreaking achievement. Watch The Weeknd’s Intergalactic New Video For “I Feel It Coming”

Talk about the perfect way to start your Friday, The Weeknd has unveiled his latest music video for “I Feel It Coming” and it includes a cameo from the dance music icons, Daft Punk.

The video is inspired by science fiction from the 50s creating for quite the vintage viewing experience. The plot of the video is pretty straight forward music the last 15 seconds where the French robots discover a mysterious purple light glowing from the snow-covered ground. Zeds Dead & NGHTMRE Drop “Frontlines” Remix Package & Music Video

It has been quite the week for Zeds Dead & NGHTMRE fans. Right when you thought “Frontlines” ft. GG Magree couldn’t get any better..BOOM music video and remix package (courtesy of DeadBeats). Dreams really do come true guys.

The video for “Frontlines” is insane. It is a retro animation themed video directed by the very talented Chris Yee. Chris and Zed’s Dead have teamed up in the past for the epic animated video “Blame”. Chris explained ““Frontlines” is inspired by the dreams of space and time exploration from the 60s and 70s – exploring new worlds and venturing into the infinite unknown.”

The remix package, which was just released today, features 8 tracks from producers Kid Froopy, Habstrakt, Crankdat, Megalodon, Taiki Nulight, Wuki, Aazar, & Klaxx. It is definitely one of the most diverse remix packages we have heard in awhile. Each producer takes the perfectly produced tune by Zeds Dead & NGHTMRE and put their own original spin on it. Cranksdat’s remix is the perfect day rager track while Megalodon is prime for after-hours parties. The “Frontlines” remixes is sure to be on repeat all weekend. JOYRYDE has always been one of our favorite artists since his part in one of the nastiest electronic groups ever, Let’s Be Friends. Johnny has been known to defy musical genres on a regular basis and fuses many different styles together to consistently create something 100% unique. This newest song “NEW BREED” is no different. Detroit native Darnell Williams throws down bars that flow over the track, and with a nasty house drop this one represents everything we know and love about JOYRYDE.

“NEW BREED” also comes with a super trippy/awesome music video that was written, directed, and edited all by JOYRYDE himself. Released on Lowly Palace, rising French producer Le Malls just dropped an insane music video for his new single “Call Me” ft. Lilianna Wilde. At the early age of 17, Le Malls has been blowing up this past year. His past two releases “R&G” and “Blazed” have been streamed over 10 million times. Le Malls’ production skills are way beyond his years and he continues to capture our attention with this killer new single and music video.

Le Malls chose to release the music video for “Call Me” the same day as the song. He explains “I didn’t just want to release the track without a visual representation. I felt that this song really needed to have an element which ties in the vocals, production and the visuals all in one hit.” The hard-hitting tune combines elements from different genres creating a unique and powerful sound. It takes you on a journey of chill-trap perfectly ornamented by Lilianne’s angelic voice and then boom.. bass in your face. The video, which was directed by Cameron Ward, perfectly embodies the feelings in the song and is impossible to look away from.

Le Malls and Lilianna Wilde are truly the dream team. Le Malls found her on Soundcloud and was instantly drawn to the passion in her voice. “She sounded like an angel trying to break away from heaven. The idea with “Call Me” was to be able to create a soundscape, which could convey the passion that she has for her music. It’s a break up song for the modern age”. Watch ZHU Resurrect A Mannequin In New “Intoxicate” Music Video

Still riding the ripples of his recent release “Intoxicate,” ZHU teamed up with director, Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, to deliver a cinematic visual to accompany the track. Joris-Peyrafitte is the youngest director to debut a film at Sundance in history who was also the winner of the Special Jury Award for that same film. This video is also a preview of ZHU’s upcoming events, Blacklizt.

“It was such a pleasure working with Zhu. From the beginning, he was totally open and collaborative. We talked about Lynch and other filmmakers Zhu felt inspired by (as did I), and given the location he already knew he wanted to shoot in, we began throwing ideas together. The rest of the process was basically like that. He’s incredibly creative and really intelligent so working with him and his team was a great pleasure.” – Joris-Peyrafitte
