Bryce Vine has had a massive 2018 and now continues to show he is a true hitmaker. Canada’s latest top-class export, Loud Luxury, hasn’t slowed down since their single, “Body.” That track has a remarkable 610 million streams on Spotify alone. It has to be closing in on 1 billon streams worldwide (at least if you add how many times I have spun the hit).

Directed by Richard Hughes, this music video centers around a man and his journey through Asia’s nightlife. Still riding high off the release of his highly-anticipated debut album Brave which continues to take the electronic dance music community by storm, JOYRYDE looks to bring his album to life unveiling the first visual component with the music video for “Thrill.”

Always being one to deliver awe-inspiring music videos to accompany his productions, JOYRYDE delivers a striking movie-like visual that he directed in partnership with James Mackel and HARD Records.

JOYRYDE shared this message regarding the process behind the shoot:

“About 3 days into working on the record I went to MAJILLA’s Facebook page and in her bio it said ‘ Sometimes you gotta play the villain ‘.. I started writing the music video in my head pretty much immediately after I read that sentence.

I called MAJILLA told her about it and then started to find directors and a team to pull the idea together. Pretty soon Director James Mackel was in my life. Me and his team went over every shot, location, lens, and cast.

James cast Rob and I cast Melian. Truly the most real couple on-screen I’ve ever seen. The chemistry between them and all of the crew was 600% in harmony on a mission.

Over 4 days I made friends I didn’t know I needed. It totally adjusted my life and ambition for creating the video.

MAJILLIA and I stood by while gun shoot outs with snipers shooting paintball pellets with sparks and dust in them for practical effects and 30 police car chase down a dusty road.

Rob and Melian are the stars. They made this video what it is and I’m so amazingly grateful for the whole experience.

About 6 months ago Rob tragically died. It was the most devastating moment in our lives. I still cant believe it. He was the most alive person I’ve ever met. We became like childhood friend within minuets. I’m going to miss him for the rest of my life.

This started out as a music video, but ended up being a life event for me. Im so proud of it and so grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life.

After the success of the initial release of their song “Off the Edge,” Hellove and Zack Gray had to run it back and bring us the equally emotional music video to go with it.

The music video depicts the artists’ struggle with depression. It starts out with Gray in a state of sadness, crouching in a tunnel before facing himself and the trauma he has faced. His past whizzes by him, flashes of failed past relationships, friends, and family. He eventually finds himself lost in a forest, about to go off the edge of a cliff before being saved and seeing the positive aspects of those same past experiences. The video is a simple story about the struggles of depression but still a powerful representation of the disease that plagues so many in society. These four minutes can help anyone struggling relate and show that they are not alone in this battle.

Hellove and Zack Gray have also teamed up to start the OFF THE EDGE campaign, a 4-part episodic endeavor that takes the form of an official website (offtheedge.world) that is officially supported by the American Association of Suicidology.

Looking to dominate 2021 making her presence felt with a steady barrage of new music, the release that calls Dr. Fresch’s budding House Call Records home has now been brought to life enthralling music video which is quite the rollercoaster of a viewing experience.

“I actually came up with the video treatment and story for ‘Outside’ before the song was even written. After “Heartbreak House” dropped I knew I wanted to do a prequel record and video. After sharing this with Myke Terry in the studio we wrote “Outside” together and I’m so excited for the video to finally be out! I want to thank Hank Kowalczyk for her incredible choreography in the video, my director Francesca Maldonado who has worked with me on the Wenzday project since day 1 and my editor Alex Hernandez for helping bring my vision to come to life,” Wenzday explains.

Halsey has returned to bring us her new offering, “So Good.” It’s quite the genre-bending ability she has allowed us to be a part of during her journey. I cannot wait to hear this song live with a full band. The music video was directed by her partner Alev Aydin. This music video is one of my favorites from the talented multi-platinum singer. Following a sold-out show in Toronto, Halsey headlined Governors Ball in New York City on June 11th. She is now cruising through her tour with effortless flow. Her show at Lakewood Amphitheatre is tomorrow Thursday June 30th. If you can make it out, we would love to see your face.

Last week, as Halsey celebrated the fifth anniversary of the release of hopeless fountain kingdom, the RIAA announced that the album had attained 2x Platinum status.
